Job Description

We are a fast-growing residential design-build company specializing in custom homes, room additions, home extensions, and complete residential renovations throughout South Florida. We provide our clients with a one-stop solution for design, permitting, and construction. We are seeking an experienced, licensed Architect to join our team full-time and lead our in-house design and permitting department. Position Requirements Active Florida Architect License (Required) Minimum 5 years of residential architectural experience Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and local permitting requirements Proficient in AutoCAD Experience preparing permit-ready construction documents Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Responsibilities The Architect will be responsible for: Conducting site visits and field measurements Preparing existing and proposed floor plans Designing residential projects, including: New custom homes Room additions and extensions Interior renovations Structural modifications Creating permit-ready architectural plans Inspiring and guiding clients through the design process Coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) plans Coordinating structural engineering requirements when needed Preparing complete permit packages for city submission Signing and sealing architectural plans Responding to city comments and permit review requests Working closely with our construction and project management teams to ensure projects remain within budget and buildable Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential room additions and home extensions Knowledge of permitting processes throughout South Florida Experience coordinating with structural engineers and consultants Design-build experience is a plus What We Offer Full-time position Consistent pipeline of residential projects In-house support team Opportunity to grow and lead our architectural department Competitive salary based on experience Long-term career opportunity with a rapidly growing company If you are a licensed Florida Architect looking to join a dynamic design-build company and work on exciting residential projects, we would love to hear from you.
