Duties:
Develops and presents lead technical viewpoint on projects and ensures HNTB systems are used to deliver the design in a standardized manner. Ensures that a technical solution consistent with the program and design is properly developed and produced. Integrates quality control measures during all phases of design. Promotes the implementation and enforcement of BIM and design technology standards, best practices, and project team workflows. Serves as a subject matter expert on architectural projects of small to medium size and assists on larger projects. Works closely with the project designer and manager in planning and implementing all work processes in consideration of budgets and schedules. Work includes preparing work plans, estimating hours to complete tasks, developing project reports, managing consultant team members (including coordination and incorporation of all work products) and reviewing invoices. Provides input on recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including performance and compensation reviews, and succession planning. Coordinates schedules and approves timecards. Aids in establishing employees' objectives and provides feedback while coaching and mentoring their team. Performs other duties as assigned. No hire/fire authority.
