We specialize in custom homes throughout Chicagoland and across the United States, working closely with homeowners to create homes that are thoughtful, well-crafted, and tailored to the way they live. Our work is rooted in strong design, technical expertise, and collaborative process. We guide clients from initial concepts through construction, helping bring their vision to life with clarity and attention to detail. ________________________________________ Your Role We are seeking an in-person Project Architect to lead custom residential projects from concept to completion. This position requires a balance of design ability, technical knowledge, project management, and client communication. You will work directly with consultants, builders, and team members to deliver projects that meet the firm's standards for design and execution. Key Responsibilities Lead projects through all phases of design and construction, serving as the primary architectural resource for assigned projects. Develop and evaluate design solutions that respond to client goals, site conditions, zoning requirements, budgets, and construction constraints. Prepare and oversee the production of construction documents, permit submissions, and consultant coordination while maintaining the firm's standards for design and technical quality. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and municipal agencies to ensure projects remain aligned with schedule, budget, and design intent. Resolve complex design and technical challenges through research, analysis, and sound architectural judgment. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members while contributing to a collaborative studio environment. ________________________________________ What You Bring Professional degree in Architecture 5-7 years of experience in residential architectural design Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience developing construction documents for custom residential projects. Knowledge of building codes, zoning requirements, and permitting processes. Strong organizational and communication skills.
