Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Architectural Associate to join our design team. This role is responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of construction documents across all project phases. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and thrives in a team-based, design-build environment.
What You'll Do:
Design & Project Coordination Assist in the design process alongside in-house architects and engineers Develop and manage drawings from preliminary concepts through construction documents Support the design-build team in preparing accurate and complete proposal sets Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors and design staff Collaboration & Workflow Participate in an integrated BIM workflow in coordination with the Design Manager Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, efficient project workflows Contribute to policy and procedure development Assist management with forecasting staffing needs based on project demands Quality & Risk Management Review drawings for completeness and accuracy prior to submission Ensure quality standards are maintained across all projects Identify and mitigate design-related risks Financial Awareness Support efforts to keep projects within budget when preparing proposal drawings Provide input to improve departmental efficiency and control costs What Success Looks Like Highly organized work and documentation Accurate, complete, and timely drawing sets Strong collaboration and communication across the team Projects delivered on time and within budget High satisfaction from project managers, supervisors, and clients Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field Demonstrated technical proficiency in architectural design and documentation Experience working with BIM workflows preferred Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute detailed plans from high-level direction Sound judgment and decision-making skills Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and company values Why Join Us Collaborative, team-focused work environment Opportunity to contribute across all phases of the design-build process Growing company with opportunities for professional development
