Williams Architecture | Baton Rouge, Louisiana Join Our Growing Team Williams Architecture is seeking a motivated and talented Licensed Architect to join our growing architectural practice. We are a client-focused firm providing architectural design, planning, construction administration, and project management services throughout Louisiana. Our portfolio includes educational, municipal, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and public-sector projects, with a strong emphasis on quality design, technical excellence, and responsive client service. This position offers the opportunity to take a leading role in project delivery while working closely with firm leadership and clients. The successful candidate will participate in all phases of project development, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration. Responsibilities Lead architectural projects from concept through completion. Develop design solutions that are functional, code-compliant, and responsive to client goals. Prepare and coordinate construction documents, specifications, and technical details. Manage project schedules, budgets, and consultant coordination. Conduct quality control and quality assurance reviews of project documents. Interface directly with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Participate in project meetings, presentations, and site visits. Assist with construction administration services, including submittal reviews, responses to RFIs, field observations, and project closeout activities. Support business development efforts and proposal preparation as needed. Mentor architectural staff and contribute to the firm's collaborative culture. Qualifications Licensed Architect in Louisiana or ability to obtain Louisiana licensure through reciprocity within six months. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience as a licensed architect. Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with public-sector projects and procurement processes is preferred.
