A collaborative architecture and design firm with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC is looking for a Project Architect to join the team. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves good design, enjoys working with clients and consultants, and can keep a project moving from documentation through construction. You'll work closely with Project Managers and Principals, help guide project teams, and mentor emerging architects along the way. Multifamily and office experience is a plus, but not required. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is collaborative, proactive, takes pride in their work, and doesn't take themselves too seriously. Role and Responsibilities Work with Project Managers and Principals to develop project deliverables Lead project documentation and help keep projects on track Mentor Intern Architects and emerging team members Coordinate with consultants and resolve design and technical issues Participate in client meetings and help build strong relationships Support construction administration and project closeout Jump into design and problem-solving throughout the project Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture from an accredited program 3+ years of experience as a Project Architect Multifamily and/or office experience preferred Strong understanding of documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, and MS Office proficiency preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership A genuine interest in architecture, design, and working with a great team What You'll Bring Good design instincts and strong technical skills A team-first attitude and low-ego approach Confidence working with clients, consultants, and project teams A willingness to mentor and help others grow Curiosity, initiative, and a sense of humor
