We are looking to expand our staff to meet our increasing workload of projects. Our firm has been in business for 66 years and our staff includes 18 professionals consisting of architects, engineers, and interior designers. Our firm provides architectural design solutions for a diverse portfolio of projects at different scales; new buildings as well as alterations to existing buildings, and includes commercial, industrial, corporate, retail, educational, religious institutions, and interior projects, as well as multi-family residential projects. We are seeking a talented Intermediate Project Architect to join our dynamic architecture team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality architectural projects from concept through construction administration. You will work closely with Principals, Project Managers, Sr. Project Architects and design teams on a variety of projects. As an intermediate project architect, you will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility for project coordination, technical documentation, and client interaction while continuing to develop your skills under the guidance of senior leadership.
INTERMEDIATE PROJECT ARCHITECT
(3-5 Years Experience)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical drawings (schematic design through construction documents) Working knowledge of Construction Document preparation Review own work for accuracy and manage project timelines and deliverables Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and permit submissions Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met Field survey of existing conditions Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support Ensure all work complies with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards Offer support to supervising Project Managers, Project Architects and office team
REQUIREMENTS 3
years minimum of professional experience in commercial, industrial, religious, educational buildings and interior fit-up Bachelor's degree in architecture Proficiency in preparing and coordination of construction documents Must understand all aspects of construction documentation and construction contract administration including shop drawing review AutoCAD experience is a must, REVIT a plus Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of building codes and technical standards required Thrives in a fast-paced environment Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
