Role:
As a Project Architect, you will play a key role in the execution of prestigious, high-end hospitality and residential projects throughout New York City. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and the project team, bringing your expertise to every stage of design and construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career while contributing to exciting, high-profile projects in one of the world's most vibrant architectural landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of stunning presentation drawings and detailed construction documents Attend site visits, conduct field reviews, and participate in crucial project meetings and construction administration Coordinate contractor schedules, review shop drawings, and ensure timely submission of samples Collaborate with a dedicated team to resolve project challenges, keep schedules on track, and maintain project integrity Keep detailed meeting minutes and facilitate coordination between clients, contractors, and vendors
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
5 + years of professional experience in New York City, ideally with a focus on hospitality or high-end residential design
Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of both modern and traditional design, with an emphasis on high-end residential projects in
New York Technical Skills:
Strong CAD and Revit proficiency, along with a solid understanding of architectural building systems, materials, and New York City building codes
Education:
Professional degree in Architecture (Master's degree is a plus)
Team Player:
Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, small office environment Why MZA/SFA?
