Job Summary Architect Location:
Newburgh, NY Employment Type:
Full-Time We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience to join our growing architectural practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong design, technical, and project management skills and be capable of leading projects from concept through construction. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, and institutional projects. Manage projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development. Ensure projects meet quality standards, schedules, budgets, and applicable codes. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program. Minimum 8 years of architectural experience. Architectural license preferred (or on track for licensure). Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods. Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit, SketchUp, and rendering software a plus. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience. Paid time off.
