Overview A growing, boutique architectural firm on Long Island is seeking an experienced Architect or Architectural Designer to join our team. We specialize primarily in high-end residential architecture, including new homes, additions, renovations, and custom residential projects throughout Long Island. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience who is technically strong and capable of producing high-quality, well-coordinated construction documents. This position offers the opportunity to work in a small, collaborative firm where you will be involved in projects from design through construction, with direct interaction with the firm principal, clients, consultants, and contractors. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our team and grow with the firm. Competitive compensation based on experience. Requirements

• 5+ years of architectural experience
• Strong construction drawing and detailing skills
• Experience developing complete construction document sets
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and building materials
• Understanding of building codes and zoning
• Ability to coordinate with structural and MEP consultants
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
