What You'll Do Lead Design & Technical Execution Guide projects through all phases—from schematic design to construction administration . Translate conceptual ideas into coordinated, buildable solutions that meet client goals and regulatory requirements. Ensure high-quality construction documents, technical detailing, and design consistency. Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with internal teams and external consultants (MEP, structural, civil, and more) to deliver fully integrated solutions. Actively participate in client meetings and presentations , clearly articulating design intent and technical solutions. Drive Project Success Monitor project progress, schedules, and alignment with client expectations. Identify risks early and proactively resolve challenges. Support Project Managers with planning, timelines, and coordination. Stay Engaged Through Construction Lead construction administration efforts—reviewing RFIs, submittals, and field conditions . Conduct site visits and help ensure the final product reflects the original design vision. Mentor & Inspire Provide guidance to junior team members on tools, processes, and best practices. Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and design excellence . What You Bring Core Qualifications Licensed Architect (required) Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture 10+ years of professional experience Strong expertise in Revit and AutoCAD Deep knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and documentation standards Proven ability to lead design and documentation across all project phases Strengths That Set You Apart Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams Strong construction administration skills (RFIs, submittals, site visits) Excellent communication and leadership abilities Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines Bonus Experience senior living, healthcare, education, or government projects Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Newforma Passion for mentoring and team development What It's Like to Work Here You'll be based in a vibrant South End office , working within a tight-knit team of architects and designers who genuinely enjoy collaborating and supporting one another.
