Job Captain / Project Architect (3-6 Years)

8-5 with core hours 10-3 + 4 hours/week flex time About the Role A growing architecture team is seeking a Job Captain or Project Architect with 3-6 years of experience to support a diverse portfolio of community, K-12, multifamily, office, water/wastewater, and religious projects . This role is ideal for someone who is design‑oriented , proactive, and excited to take ownership of work from concept through completion. You'll contribute to all phases of design and documentation, including

SD, DD, CD , 3D

modeling, and rendering. The team values initiative, curiosity, and candidates who are passionate about learning and growing within a collaborative, mentorship‑driven environment. Key Responsibilities Develop high‑quality Revit models, drawings, and construction documents Contribute to SD, DD, and CD phases across multiple project types Create 3D models and renderings for design presentations Support and run projects from start to finish Collaborate closely with project teams to solve design challenges Take ownership of tasks, make recommendations, and work independently while knowing when to ask for support Required Qualifications 3-6 years of architectural experience in commercial (required) or multifamily projects Bachelor's degree in Architecture Strong proficiency in Revit Experience supporting or running projects through all phases Ability to produce compelling renderings and 3D visualizations Strong design sensibility and problem‑solving skills Architectural license or active progress toward licensure Preferred Skills Bluebeam SketchUp Adobe Creative Suite Rendering tools (Enscape, Lumion, etc.) What We're Looking For Strong initiative and a sense of ownership Creative problem solver who can run with tasks independently Passionate, engaged, and excited to learn Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarity Not passive — genuinely interested in the work and the team Perks Opportunity to work on multiple project types without being siloed Hybrid schedule with Fridays remote 4 hours/week flex time Tenured leadership with strong mentorship Annual performance reviews each April 3 weeks PTO + sick time , plus potential paid week off between Christmas and New Year Year‑end bonus based on company performance Family‑like culture with team events, BBQs, happy hours, and company trips 30 months of backlog ensuring stability and steady project flow Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
