What You'll Do As an Architect I , you'll serve as a trusted licensed professional that is developing competencies in the management of projects and is capable of independently performing a variety of day-to-day assignments while supporting the people around you.

You'll:

Perform a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of architectural designs for projects of moderate size and complexity Prepare reports, plans, schedules, and studies as assigned Perform analysis of design, planning and occupancy studies, and limited design layouts Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations Be responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client's needs Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of assigned projects Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs Carry out assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures Provide guidance to less experienced architects We'll Support Your Growth We're looking for an experienced team member who is ready to make an impact in GMC Columbia. You bring:

A commitment to quality and thoughtful problem-solving A collaborative mindset and willingness to share your experience with others Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills A desire to contribute to something bigger than an individual project What You'll Need Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from accredited university 6+ Years of relevant experience post-graduation, preferred Certification as a licensed professional is required Advanced knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Where You'll Work This is primarily an office-based role, with opportunities to get out into the field and stay connected to the projects and people you're serving. Travel:

Up to 20%, including project site visits, client meetings, professional development, and other project-related activities. Fieldwork may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, temperatures, construction environments, pollutants, chemicals, insects, and other site conditions. Appropriate protective clothing and equipment will be provided and required as appropriate. The role also includes periods of desk and computer work, as well as occasional bending, twisting, crouching, and other physical movements. Employees may occasionally need to lift up to 25 pounds.
