Full Job Description Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Residential Architect to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional who can independently manage the full architectural design process for single-family homes, from initial concept through permit approval.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and electrical layouts Manage projects independently with minimal supervision Prepare and submit plans to local municipalities for permitting Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and regulations Revise plans as needed to obtain permit approvals

Requirements:

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in single-family residential architecture Proven ability to independently produce complete construction documents Experience handling projects through the full permitting process Proficiency in SoftPlan (strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of building codes and permitting procedures Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working directly with city permitting offices Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong communication skills

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
