Wenatchee, Washington Position Overview We're seeking an experienced Municipal Architect who believes in the transformative power of civic design. Public buildings shape the values and identity of our communities—they are where purpose meets place. This role calls for a design leader who can bring vision, practicality, and heart to spaces that serve the public good. Your Impact As a Municipal Architect, you will: Lead the end-to-end design process for civic spaces including libraries, community centers, cultural institutions, and government facilities. Serve as a thoughtful liaison with municipal clients, civic leaders, and community stakeholders. Advocate for meaningful, human-centric design in public spaces that reflect community values. Guide project teams through zoning, permitting, and code compliance with technical expertise. Mentor internal design staff and contribute to a culture of design excellence. Key Responsibilities Direct architectural design for municipal and civic buildings from concept through construction. Facilitate community engagement and navigate city and state review processes. Lead interdisciplinary teams with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style. Uphold the highest standards of design integrity, functionality, and public value. Represent the firm in public meetings, client presentations, and stakeholder sessions. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in architectural design with a focus on civic or municipal projects. Proven expertise in municipal codes, permitting, and civic design standards. Exceptional communication skills with an ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams. Strong conceptual and technical design abilities with proficiency in Revit or similar platforms. Licensed Architect (WA or eligible for reciprocity preferred). Salary Range:
