Civil / Underground Foreman & Operator

Who We're Looking For:

We are currently looking for a Underground Foreman to join our Nevada team. This person must have a CDL, know all aspects of Underground Construction including Drilling, Locating, Hydro Vac and understand utility and jurisdictional requirements. Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a crew of employees. Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Lead and manage multiple groups of 2-4 crew members and mentor and train junior team members Clear understanding of operating the Horizontal Drill (Vermeer) and Excavation equipment Follow proper safety procedures when operating equipment and working in the ROW Pickup/Deliver supplies, tools, equipment, etc., via company vehicle (towing trailer if applicable) Responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools and equipment Maintains and submits complete and accurate files/logs/pictures/reports as determined by supervisor and/or other management personnel Develops and maintains a positive company image, both internally with fellow employees and with customers

Qualifications:

Experience with

Vermeer Drills and Hydro Vacs Travel Requirements:

Must be available to travel up to 100% for weeks at a time if required Flexible to work shift work to include maintenance window and weekends if needed Must have a valid CDL driver's license Must be able to become DOT certified if designated as an eligible driver for the Company Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Must be able to accurately track crew member hours on a daily/weekly basis and submit time for management approval in a timely manner 3+ years of experience with wireless telecommunication site construction OSHA Safety standards certification is preferred (will provide training)

Heights:

Climbing ladders, towers to reach elevated work areas.

Lifting and Carrying:

Regularly lifting and carrying heavy materials, tools, and debris, often exceeding 50 pounds.

Standing and Walking:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking on uneven surfaces across the construction site.

Bending and Kneeling:

Frequent bending, kneeling, and crouching to access tight spaces or work on low levels.

Reaching and Pulling:

Reaching for materials and tools, pulling heavy objects.

Hand Dexterity:

Using hand and power tools with precision.

$30.00 - $36.00
