Operate and control the screed to level and smooth asphalt Adjust screed height, angle, and width as needed Monitor asphalt flow and surface quality during paving Perform basic equipment checks, cleaning, and maintenance Work closely with the paving crew to maintain safe and efficient operations Follow safety rules and project specifications Requirements 2 Years Experience Experience operating paving or heavy construction equipment preferred Ability to work outdoors in hot and physically demanding conditions Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions Valid driver's license (clean driving record) Able to travel and work flexible hours as required Must pass drug testing Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid orientation Paid time off Paid training Referral program Retirement plan Safety equipment provided Pavement Preservation Group (Cactus Asphalt, Viking Construction, and American Pavement Preservation) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
