Job Description
- Paving Foreman / Asphalt Superintendent (Front Range)
- A leading heavy‑civil contractor is seeking an experienced
- Paving Foreman
- to oversee asphalt paving operations across the Front Range. This role is ideal for a seasoned foreman ready to step into a superintendent‑level position or a superintendent with 1-2 years of experience running asphalt crews. This is a
- boots‑on‑the‑ground, field‑driven
- position responsible for managing crews, production, quality, and daily job execution. The right leader keeps work moving, maintains high standards, and sets the pace for safe, efficient, high‑quality paving.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Asphalt paving oversight — manage operations from start to finish + Crew coordination — lead and schedule up to 3 paving crews + Daily planning — set production goals, assignments, and workflow + Quality control — ensure all work meets spec and industry standards + Field communication — coordinate with operators, foremen, dispatch, and PM teams + Monitor placement & compaction — track yield, density, and jobsite conditions + Schedule management — maintain timelines and drive production + Safety leadership — enforce policies and lead by example + Problem‑solving — resolve field issues and keep projects moving •Required Experience•+ Paving Foreman or Superintendent experience + Strong understanding of: + Asphalt operations & production + Equipment and crew coordination + QC standards and paving best practices + Prior experience overseeing multiple crews preferred + Ability to manage people, pace, and jobsite workflow + Hands‑on leadership style with a strong field presence •Work Locations•Projects typically fall within a •50‑mile radius•, including: Lyons, Castle Rock, Boulder, Golden, Morrison, Strasburg, and the greater Metro Denver area.
- Schedule & Seasonal Expectations
Start Time:
- 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Peak Season (May-November):
- + Up to 7 days per week depending on project needs + Not guaranteed 7 days every week; downtime may occur + Flexibility and availability required during peak months
- Off‑Season (November-April):
- + 40 hours per week +
PTO:
15 days accrued in year one + Sick time: 48 hours provided up front (separate from PTO) + Paid holidays: 8 per year- Compensation & Benefits

- This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
