Dog Bather Full Time

Dog Bather (Full Time) We're looking for a passionate, animal-loving Bather to join our team! This role focuses on delivering great care and bathing services for dogs while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. What You'll Do Bathe, dry, brush, trim nails, clean ears, and complete spa add-ons. Perform light de-matting and anal gland expression when needed. Manage dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments safely and kindly. Follow client notes and care instructions. Observe health and behavior and communicate concerns (skin, coat, behavior, parasites, etc.). Deliver outstanding customer service and build client relationships. Demonstrate initiative by seeking out bathing opportunities from existing guests and recommend services that support pet comfort, hygiene, and client satisfaction. Maintain clean work areas and proper sanitation procedures. Use grooming equipment safely and follow company policies. Accurately track appointments, notes, and services in our system. Support other departments as needed. Performance Expectations Complete baths efficiently (approx. 30 min small dog / 45 min medium / 60 min large). Follow safety protocols. Keep grooming spaces clean and stocked. Provide friendly, professional customer service. Ability to upsell services and educate clients on pet care. What We're Looking For Professional pet bathing experience required. Genuine love for dogs. Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to grow business by leveraging in-house dogs for grooming services and upselling additional care options. Team-oriented, positive attitude. Reliable, responsible, and able to work weekends/holidays, morning/evenings. Comfortable handling dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and manage active dogs.
