You'll operate screed controls, maintain grade and depth, and help create smooth, durable road surfaces for both commercial and residential developments across the Tampa Bay region.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate screed controls on paving equipment to regulate asphalt depth, width, and contour Monitor asphalt flow for consistent and seamless mat placement Coordinate closely with the paver operator and crew to maintain alignment and elevation accuracy Read plans, stakes, or grade references to guide screed adjustments Conduct routine equipment inspections and assist in basic maintenance Support general paving tasks and labor duties as needed Adhere strictly to Kearney's safety-first policies and on-site procedures Requirements Previous experience in asphalt paving crews as a Screed Man or Screed Operator. Proficient in reading grade stakes and performing screed adjustments Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather conditions Reliable with transportation to/from Riverview job sites

Preferred Qualifications:
