Job Description
Job Overview We have an immediate opening for an Asphalt Paving Foreman who works under the direct supervision of our Operations Manager. The Asphalt Foreman role is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and directing all daily asphalt paving operations on a crew while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract specifications and company quality standards. Responsibilities Direct and Supervise Asphalt Paving Crew Assign work responsibilities and monitor employee productivity. Mentor and train crew members in proper paving techniques and safe work practices Maintain discipline while promoting teamwork and professionalism Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching when necessary Coordinate daily paving activities to maximize production while maintaining quality standards. Ensure proper grade, slope, thickness, and asphalt mat quality Resolve field issues quickly to minimize project delays Requirements Must have High School Diploma or GED certificate A valid Driver's License is required Minimum 2 years supervisory experience Must be able to pass drug screen, background investigation, physical and required pre-employment exams Must be able to gain approved access to US Federal Government Properties Knowledge of asphalt paving equipment and operations Strong leadership and communication skills Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required Be willing to work nights and weekends if necessary Join our team as an Asphalt Crew Foreman where your leadership will shape successful projects while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
