Full-Time Job Description We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Mix Specialist to support asphalt production operations throughout Minnesota. This position is responsible for overseeing asphalt mix design, quality control, and plant performance to ensure all materials meet project specifications and state standards. Responsibilities Monitor and manage asphalt mix designs to meet project and DOT specifications Oversee asphalt plant operations related to mix consistency and quality Perform quality control testing on aggregates and asphalt mixes Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to mix designs and plant settings Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards Coordinate with plant operators, project managers, and field crews Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation Assist with troubleshooting production and material issues Qualifications Previous experience with asphalt mix design and production required Working knowledge of MnDOT specifications and quality standards Experience with asphalt testing procedures and QC documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Comfortable working in plant and field environments Valid driver's license required Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Alexandria, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
