Asphalt Supervisor

Position Summary RAM Pavement Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Asphalt Supervisor to lead and oversee asphalt paving operations. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating job site activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to RAM's high-quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong field experience in asphalt and concrete operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise asphalt paving crews, including operators, drivers, and laborers Oversee all phases of asphalt work including milling, grading, paving, rolling, and finishing Coordinate daily job site operations to meet production goals and project deadlines Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures Communicate effectively with project managers, dispatch, and customers Monitor quality control to ensure proper compaction, thickness, and finish Complete and submit daily reports including labor, equipment, and materials Train, mentor, and hold crew members accountable for performance and safety Coordinate equipment needs, including dump trucks and lowboy scheduling as needed Address job site challenges quickly and effectively to minimize downtime Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in asphalt paving with supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of asphalt and concrete paving operations and equipment Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple priorities Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and job scopes Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license required Join us as an Asphalt Supervisor where your expertise will shape vital infrastructure projects!
