COMMERCIAL

Asphalt paving. We are a 5 star commercial paving contractor that performs all work in house. We install and fine grade stone, install asphalt, mill and pave parking lots, stripe parking lots, sealcoat and crackfill parking lots, construct new parking lots from the dirt up, and perform maintenance and rehab on existing parking lots for commercial properties. This is a position heavily focused on logistics of employees and equipment. You will be a direct supervisor to all field foreman and employees. You will assist the project managers in the implementation and Quality Control process before, during, and after major projects. No night work or out of town work. We work inside a 1 to 1.5 hour radius of Raleigh, NC.

Job requirements:

Manage daily operations of jobs and crews, includes traveling between jobs daily to check quality and production. Meet crews every morning and ensure crews get out in a timely manner with everything they need. Manage and work with our commercial truck drivers to move all equipment for the current days work and future work, where possible. (Logistics) Ensure 5 star quality work is performed at all times without cutting any corners. Pre-ordering materials and trucks from vendors daily to ensure crews have what they need to perform work. Communicate with customers and project managers/estimators on any problems or changes that may arise during the operation of the job. Ensure quality and profitability of daily paving operation. Must be organized. Must be comfortable using Microsoft Suite of products. Must have strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to ever changing paving conditions. Must be available to work some weekend.
