What you'll be doing:
  • Operating and overseeing equipment use on job sites — mini excavators, mulchers, and a compact track loader
  • Directing the crew on-site day to day, making call on sequencing and approach when the owner isn't there
  • Acting as the main point of contact with clients while on site — answering questions, flagging issues, keeping the job on track
  • Helping train and mentor newer operators/laborers
  • Keeping the owner informed on job progress, equipment issues, and anything that affects timeline or cost What we're looking for:
  • Solid hands-on experience operating heavy equipment — excavators, track loaders, mulchers, or similar
  • Comfortable making decisions on site without waiting for approval on every small thing
  • Clear, direct communicator — can talk to clients professionally and keep the owner in the loop
  • A steady hand under pressure — weather delays, equipment breakdowns, and schedule changes are part of the job
  • Someone who takes ownership of problems rather than just reporting them What we offer:
