Job Description
Job Summary Barrett Paving Materials MWC is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Trackhoe Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment to support excavation, grading, and site development work across a variety of paving projects. Main Responsibilities Operate trackhoe (excavator) equipment for digging, trenching, grading, and material movement Follow site plans, grade stakes, and directions from supervisors to ensure accurate work Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or repair needs Maintain safe work zones and strictly follow all company safety protocols Work closely with crew members on-site to support efficient project completion Load, unload, and move materials as needed Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and fueling of equipment Assist with other construction tasks as needed to support the team Qualifications Valid driver's license Proven experience operating trackhoes or similar heavy equipment Strong understanding of construction site safety practices Ability to read basic site plans, blueprints, or grade stakes Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks when needed Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, and overtime Commitment to following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in road construction, paving, or site development Why Join Us?
