Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asphalt Paver Operator/Job Foreman to lead paving projects with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the operation of heavy paving equipment, coordinate construction activities, and ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, maintain project timelines, and uphold safety protocols on bustling construction sites. Responsibilities Operate asphalt paver with skill and confidence to ensure smooth paving operations. Lead daily on-site activities, supervising and directing crew members and coordinating tasks to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks. Manage material delivery and placement Oversee site safety protocols Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Drive and deliver equipment to the job site (CDL preferred but not required) Assist in other paving related tasks as necessary for job completion, which could include shoveling, rolling Qualifications Proven experience operating asphalt pavers for a minimum of 3 years. Knowledge and experience operating other construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, rollers, and dump trucks preferred, but not required. Strong background in leading a team and project management. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery is not a requirement but a large plus and could lead to a salary paid position. Experience working on commercial construction sites with a solid understanding of safety procedures and site logistics. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.
Pay:
$38.00 - $45.00 per hour
