Description Asphalt Laborers are responsible for carrying out a wide range of physical responsibilities which may include: Walking alongside Asphalt Paver Operations, identifying asphalt surface areas, that require attention. Utilizing had tools, such as Asphalt Lute & Shovel, to manipulate asphalt to ensure smooth asphalt surface. Serving at the Spotter for dump trucks and other heavy equipment; which consists of visual, verbal and hand communications. Shoveling, sweeping, and using wheelbarrow. Other duties, as assigned.
