Job Responsibilities Rake and lute hot mix asphalt to achieve a smooth, properly finished surface Assist with asphalt paving operations and other crew members Shovel and move asphalt and other materials as needed Assist with preparation and cleanup of job sites Perform general labor duties related to asphalt paving Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Qualifications Previous asphalt or construction experience is preferred Must be dependable and willing to work as part of a team Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and shoveling Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and occasional overtime Valid driver's license is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Union benefits Opportunity for advancement Steady work with an established local paving company If you are hardworking, dependable, and looking to become part of a great paving crew, we want to hear from you!
