Job Summary:

W.A. Petrakis Contracting is seeking an experienced Asphalt Screed Operator ("Screw Guy"). This position plays a critical role in achieving proper asphalt distribution, depth, smoothness, and overall pavement quality on a variety of job sites in the greater Pittsburgh Area. W.A. Petrakis Contracting LLC is a drug free workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate screed for even asphalt distribution Adjust screed electronics with paver operator Set depth, grade, and slope per specifications Follow prep work, grades, and drainage plans Adhere to all safety protocols Perform general labor duties for paving crew as needed

Qualifications:

3 years of asphalt screed operation experience Knowledge of paving techniques, compaction, and safety best practices. Ability to work flexible hours Must pass drug screening and background check Skilled with attention to detail and high-quality asphalt mat and finish. Pre-employment Drug Screening and Background Check required.

Preferred:

OSHA 10 ; OSHA 30 High school diploma or equivalent preferred. W.A. Petrakis is a Drug-Free Workplace.
