The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving operations and heavy equipment handling. These roles involves Assist with the placement, spreading, and leveling of asphalt material Rake, shovel, and smooth asphalt to achieve proper grade and finish Operate hand tools such as rakes, lutes, tampers, and shovels Support equipment operators and truck drivers to maintain steady material flow Help set up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices Monitor asphalt consistency and help maintain quality during paving operations Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials as needed Clean and perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and job site protocols Assist with other labor duties as assigned Qualifications Previous asphalt paving or construction experience preferred, but not required Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods Willingness to work long hours as needed Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to travel to different job sites Valid driver's license
