Asphalt Distributor Operator

Black Forest Paving is seeking an Asphalt Distributor Driver for immediate hire. Applicants must have a Class A or B CDL with a clean record (no DUI's). This is a skilled position operating an asphalt distributor truck applying liquid asphalt products for road construction and maintenance projects. We are looking for someone with experience in a distributor or similar heavy equipment position who is able to safely operate spray systems, maintain proper application rates, and support paving and chip seal operations. Time and half for overtime. Paid weekly. We offer health, dental, vision, 401K, paid vacation, holiday pay. Duties Operate asphalt distributor truck to apply tack coat, prime coat, and other asphalt products according to job specifications Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and spray systems are in good working condition Monitor and maintain proper spray rates, temperatures, and coverage during operations Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety procedures, and company policies Maintain accurate records of materials, deliveries, and equipment maintenance Communicate effectively with foremen, paving crews, and other team members Assist with other duties as needed to support paving and construction activities Coordinate with paving crews to ensure proper application rates, coverage, and consistency during paving operations Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily logs, safety reports, and equipment maintenance records Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to promote a secure working environment for yourself and team members Qualifications Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Experience operating an asphalt distributor or similar heavy equipment preferred Ability to operate manual transmission trucks Current DOT medical card Knowledge of asphalt application procedures and job site safety practices Ability to work in outdoor conditions and around hot materials Ability to pass a drug test

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 50 - 65 per week
