Job Description
Asphalt Maintenance Crew Member - Experience Required District Asphalt LLC - Ashland, VA We are hiring a dependable asphalt maintenance crew member with previous experience in outdoor construction, landscaping, paving, sealcoating, or similar physical work. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already understands how to work safely, stay productive in the heat, and handle basic commercial equipment.
Required experience:
Confidently driving a work truck while pulling and backing a trailer Operating a weed eater and commercial backpack blower Working around skid steers, rollers, trailers, and asphalt equipment Performing physical outdoor work in summer heat Loading, securing, and unloading tools and equipment Following instructions without constant supervision Maintaining a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Arriving on time and ready to work every scheduled day Experience with sealcoating, asphalt repair, crack filling, paving, landscaping, grading, or construction is strongly preferred. Daily responsibilities include preparing driveways and parking lots, weed eating edges, blowing and cleaning pavement, moving equipment, assisting with sealcoating and asphalt repairs, traffic control, and jobsite cleanup. Work is physically demanding and may include lifting 50-75 pounds, walking for extended periods, and working in hot weather. We are looking for someone who wants steady work and an opportunity to grow—not someone looking for a temporary job.Pay:
