Job Description

Join our sealcoating crews for the upcoming season. You'll handle residential and commercial projects, focusing on quality, safety, and daily production goals. About Hallman Asphalt & Sealing LLC Hallman Asphalt & Sealing, LLC was founded in 1976 by Bill Hallman. Specializing in residential and commercial sealcoating, crack filling, and patch work, Hallman Asphalt takes pride in our ability to serve each of our client's individual needs. Still locally owned and operated over 45 years later, Hallman Asphalt continues to prove the importance of hard work and traditional business values.

Description Key Responsibilities:

Sealcoating:

Surface prep, edging, application, and finishing

Crack Filling:

Clean/rout as needed; accurate material application

Parking Lot Cleaning:

Sweeping/blowing, debris removal, jobsite readiness

Basic Asphalt Patching:

Small area repairs to extend pavement life

Equipment Operation & Care:

Operate spray/squeegee systems, melters, blowers, sweepers; perform basic maintenance and daily checks

Safety & Housekeeping:

Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

Teamwork & Communication:

Coordinate with the foreman/crew to meet schedule and quality standards

Qualifications:

Required:

Prior experience in asphalt maintenance/sealcoating Proven skills in crack filling, parking lot cleaning, and basic patching Familiarity with sealcoating equipment and basic maintenance Reliable, on-time for a 7:00 AM start; willing to work weekends in season Able to work outdoors (heat, sun, light rain) and perform physical tasks throughout the day

Pay & Benefits:

$28-$38/hour depending on experience Benefits available after 90 days (details provided at onboarding)

Season & Work Hours:

Seasonal employment: April-November Typical hours: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (may vary by job, traffic, or weather)
