Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Asphalt Paver Operator, where you'll play a vital role in creating smooth, durable roadways and paving surfaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate heavy paving equipment, coordinate with crew members, and ensure high-quality results on every project. Your mechanical aptitude and construction site experience will help drive successful project completion while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Responsibilities Operate asphalt pavers and related heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to lay asphalt with precision and consistency Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing tasks to support various paving projects Manage concrete pumping and ensure proper placement for seamless surfaces Conduct routine inspections of paving machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Support rebar installation and concrete forming activities as needed on construction sites Coordinate with team members to prepare the site, set up equipment, and execute paving plans efficiently Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, equipment usage, and safety checks throughout each shift Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment, particularly asphalt pavers, loaders, excavators, and dump trucks Hands-on knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping techniques Familiarity with construction site procedures, safety protocols, and OSHA standards Mechanical knowledge related to maintaining and troubleshooting paving machinery Previous involvement in commercial or large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for operating commercial vehicles on-site or between locations Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to building lasting infrastructure.
