Job Description
Marana is one of the fastest-growing communities in Southern Arizona, located approximately 20 minutes northwest of downtown Tucson and 75 minutes southeast of Phoenix. The Town of Marana is seeking a Crew Lead with concrete experience to work in the Public Works Department with the Street Maintenance Division. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working as a skilled laborer responsible for finishing concrete surfaces and supporting and upholding the Town's cultural values.Normal Business Hours:
6:00 - 4:30, 4 days a week, with mandatory rotating on-callLocation:

$22.30/hour - $27.32/hour Placement within the salary range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget.Salary Range:
$22.30/hour - $32.34/hour- Leads and trains assigned staff and provides service to customers.
- Utilizes various techniques to complete and create different textures and finishes on concrete surfaces; reads and follows specifications and works with other trades to ensure that the finished product meets Town requirements.
- Removes and replaces concrete such as ADA's, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools; forms expansion joints, installs anchor bolts, and steel plates.
- Performs routine skilled maintenance tasks; inspects, cleans, and performs routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment; identifies and reports mechanical problems.
- Performs work duties and operates a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Tracks and manages work orders, workflow, materials, and supplies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Over five (5) years of street construction/maintenance experience or closely related field. Public Sector experience in municipal, county, or state government. Possess one year (or more) of experience in a Lead position.RECRUITMENT PROCESS
