Job Overview Are you a skilled mason looking for a fresh start creating beautiful outdoor spaces? We are a small landscape design/ build company located in Ridgefield, CT that has been creating beautiful hardscapes and softscapes for over 30 years. We are looking for a skilled mason to join our team. We pay well, on time, and provide ample hours for experienced, hardworking employees during the season. Full job description
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of masonry / hardscape experience (REQUIRED) Proven ability to lead a crew and run projects independently. Base prep, grading, drainage Paver systems, wall systems, and natural stone Experience operating equipment and trucks with trailers. Valid driver's license (REQUIRED) Strong work ethic, leadership, and attention to detail Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities Prepare sites:
layout, dig, grade, and compact bases. Mix and apply mortar or other bonding agents when needed. Cut and shape stones or blocks to fit design specs. Install plants and softscape materials when needed. Collaborate with team members on site to complete jobs efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite. Operate tools and light equipment safely.
Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Application Question(s): Do you have experience running any heavy equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, or excavators? Do you have experience driving box trucks or dump trucks? Do you have any experience manage a crew (small or large)? Do you have any experience planting plants or doing softscape installations?
