Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Mason to join our dynamic construction team in Louisville, KY. As a vital member of our crew, you will bring craftsmanship and precision to a variety of projects, from new builds to renovation and restoration work. Your expertise will help create durable, aesthetically pleasing structures that stand the test of time. Duties Construct, repair, and restore structures using brick, stone, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials with precision and attention to detail Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Prepare surfaces by mixing mortar, laying bricks or stones, and applying finishing techniques such as plastering or stucco for a polished look Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on construction sites Install rebar reinforcement for concrete structures and assist with concrete forming and pouring processes Perform masonry-related tasks such as tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roofing support as needed Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to meet project specifications and timelines while maintaining safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in construction with a strong focus on masonry work in various environments including renovation and restoration projects Skilled in concrete finishing techniques and concrete forming processes Knowledge of rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, and plastering methods Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety protocols on construction sites Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and project planning skills Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs Valid certifications or training in masonry techniques or related fields is preferred but not required Join our team in Louisville where your craftsmanship will help shape our community's future! Pay:
