  • $40/hr\ Fernandes Masonry is looking for Bricklayers and Laborers to join their team and work on masonry projects throughout the New England region.
Female Masons encouraged to apply!\ Typical duties for Bricklayers include laying, tooling, and repointing of all masonry unit with mortars on all new and existing masonry walls.\ Laborers will handle all masonry trade work tasks not included as a bricklayer. Generally, this will be all tasks that do no include the use of a trowel and jointers.
\ This include:
\
  • All cutting with saws and preparing masonry units\
  • Demolitions, toothing, grinding, joints, and cutting of existing masonry\
  • Installing insulation, masonry anchors by screws or welding, flashings, damproofing mastics & vapor barriers on masonry or other substrates\
  • Grouting block cores, installing rebar, unloading, and hoisting into place all Architectural precast/cast stone.\
  • Washing masonry walls, rubbing CMU walls, cleaning & washing floors\
Requirements:
\
  • 10-hour OSHA certification required\
  • Experience w/ masonry preferred. Active Filters Bricklayer/Laborer
