Mason (Brick/Block)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated block and brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and related construction skills, with the ability to work on various projects, including new builds, renovations, and restorations. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION!

Jobsites in Baltimore and Harford County. Duties Construct and repair walls, foundations, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Perform hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Execute drywall installation and finishing as needed for interior projects. Engage in concrete forming for foundations and other structural elements. Collaborate with other tradespeople including carpenters and roofers to ensure cohesive project execution. Restore and renovate existing masonry structures while maintaining historical accuracy when required. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in masonry work with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Knowledge of hardscape techniques and installation practices. Familiarity with drywall installation processes is preferred. Experience in concrete forming and frame carpentry is advantageous. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
