Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using brick, stone, concrete, and other masonry materials. You will work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to large commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry materials to build structures such as walls, chimneys, and foundations. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Mix mortar and other materials to achieve proper consistency and strength. Install and repair masonry surfaces and structures, ensuring quality craftsmanship and safety standards are met. Ensure proper alignment and finishing of work. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with other team members, including laborers and other tradespeople, to complete projects on time. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site. Assist in project planning and provide expertise on material selection, layout, and design.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Mason, with a minimum of 5 years in the trade. In-depth knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints. Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
