Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects including residential and commercial buildings. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other trades on the job site. Duties Construct and repair walls and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Install rebar for reinforcement in CMU structures. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for masonry work. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site. Assist in renovation and restoration projects as needed. Skills Proficient in masonry techniques including brick laying, stucco application, and veneer systems. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus. Previous experience on construction sites is essential for understanding workflow dynamics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
