JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position repairs and installs sewer and drainpipes, catch basins, and headwalls, pours and finishes concrete block and brick walls. Installs forms for sidewalks, curb construction and repairs, and raises drain and sewer covers for paving; works from rough sketches with accurate dimensions. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 2:45 pm, is part of the AFSCME Collective Bargaining Unit, and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 4, with an hourly rate not to exceed $28.95.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience and High School diploma or certified equivalent. (Combination of education and experience will be considered) Must possess valid CDL B license Knowledge of different types of cement and building materials
