Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic Job Title :
Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturer of masonry products, is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join their team at their Rittman, Ohio facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems across the plant.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment and systems. Adjust, program, and inspect mechanical components to ensure optimal performance. Lead mechanical shutdowns and participate in maintenance planning. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment performance. Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following safety protocols and promoting continuous improvement. Support reporting and documentation efforts related to maintenance and safety.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Industrial Mechanics or Electromechanics. Licence or certification is a huge asset Demonstrated competency in electrical systems. Minimum of 3 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining. Strong experience in the brick industry is a huge asset Skilled in arc and TIG welding. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and schematics. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
