Join our dynamic construction team as a Dirt and Stone Grade Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help shape the foundation of exciting infrastructure projects! In this vital role, you will assist with grading, excavation, erosion control, and site preparation to ensure smooth progress on construction sites. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to building safe, durable, and high-quality structures. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in industrial construction while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Assist with the grading and leveling of dirt and stone according to construction plans and specifications Operate manual tools and power equipment such as shovels, rakes, compactors, and small machinery to move materials efficiently Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate site layout and erosion control measures Support the installation of erosion control barriers and drainage systems to prevent soil erosion during construction Perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials safely while adhering to OSHA safety standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety regulations are followed at all times Assist with equipment repair and basic maintenance to keep tools and machinery in optimal condition Requirements Prior experience in industrial or construction environments is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Ability to read construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of workplace safety regulations including OSHA safety standards and construction site protocols Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Mechanical aptitude for understanding equipment repair and troubleshooting minor issues with power tools or machinery Strong commitment to workplace safety practices such as respiratory protection use and erosion control procedures Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward implementing safety regulations and project goals Join us in building the future!
