Job Description

We are hiring for the following shifts: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM Harris Masonry is currently looking for skilled Masons to join our team and work on many commercial projects in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. Some masonry experience is required, however apprentices are trained even further to master the craft. Apprentices start at $27 per hour and Journeyman start at $38 per hour. Pay will be based off of experience. Laborers, Brick Pointers, Bricklayers, and Caulkers. Starting pay based on experience, EOE, full time positions available. We will train applicants willing to learn a well-paid, stratifying trade Laying bricks, stone or similar materials to build residential/commercial chimneys and fireplaces, patios, walls or walkways Laying firebricks to line industrial chimneys and smokestacks Cutting and trimming bricks using hand and power tools Lining or relining furnaces and boilers using acid-resistant bricks Restoring, cleaning or painting existing brick structures Reading and interpreting sketches and blueprints Summary As a Union Bricklayer, you will be integral to the construction process, specializing in masonry work that includes laying bricks, blocks, and stones. Reporting to the site supervisor, your core skills in hand tools, power tools, and construction will be essential for executing precise masonry tasks.
