Job Description
Luxor Staffing is hiring a Masonry Worker paying up to $29 per hour. Weekly pay, possible overtime, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more! Responsibilities Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials according to specifications and blueprints. Construct and repair walls, chimneys, walkways, patios, fences, retaining walls, and other structures. Mix mortar, grout, and concrete to required specifications. Measure and cut materials to fit project requirements. Install masonry units using proper alignment, leveling, and spacing techniques. Repair damaged masonry structures and replace defective materials. Operate hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment safely and effectively. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other construction team members to complete projects on schedule. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum 2 years of masonry or construction experience preferred. Completion of a masonry apprenticeship program is a plus. Knowledge of masonry materials, methods, and techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with brick, block, stone, and concrete installation. #
