Year-Round Opportunity Starting Pay:
$17.00/hour Position Overview Melum Masonry is looking for a dependable, hard-working Mason Tender to join our team. This is an entry-level position with opportunities to learn the masonry trade while working alongside experienced masons on residential projects throughout Central Wisconsin. If you enjoy working outdoors, aren't afraid of physical work, and want to build a career in the skilled trades, we'd love to meet you. Construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities May Include:
Mixing mortar and grout Supplying materials and tools to masons Assisting with brick, block, stone, and concrete projects Setting up and tearing down scaffolding and jobsite equipment Loading and unloading materials Jobsite preparation and cleanup Operating hand tools and basic power tools Assisting with demolition and site preparation Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Learning masonry skills from experienced crew members What We're Looking For Construction experience preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work outdoors in all seasons Physically capable of lifting and carrying masonry materials throughout the day Positive attitude and willingness to learn Team player who takes pride in doing quality work Valid driver's license preferred Why Work With Us At Melum Masonry, we're committed to building more than quality masonry—we're building a team people enjoy being part of.
