Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead to oversee and coordinate construction projects with a focus on general construction management. As a vital leader on our team, you will guide crews through complex building processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Your expertise will drive successful project completion while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead diverse construction activities, utilize your technical skills, and make a tangible impact on large-scale building projects. Pay will depend on experience. Duties Supervise and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling efforts. Manage construction crews, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation processes such as rebar placement, framing, and stucco application. Operate or oversee the operation of heavy equipment and power tools necessary for site work. Ensure proper installation of rebar, framing (including woodworking and metal stud framing), drywall (including plastering), and other structural components. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials like siding, roofing materials, and concrete are delivered on schedule. Conduct quality inspections to verify work meets specifications; address any issues promptly to maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety reports, and compliance records throughout the construction process. Skills Skilled in rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for construction sites; committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and ensuring clear understanding of project goals. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.
