The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of skills carpentry tasks to maintain, repair,and improve hospital facilities. This role ensures that all carpentry work complies with safety,hygiene, and regulatory standards specific to a healthcare environment.

Carpenter Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.

•Minimum requirements:

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipmentStrong knowledge of building materials, techniques, and safety practicesAbility to read blue prints, technical drawings, and schematicsExcellent problem solving skills and attention to detailMinimum 1 year of carpentry experiencePreferred requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a commercial or healthcare settingsUnderstand of healthcare regulations and standards, such as OSHA, Joint Commission, and other relevant bodies
